The short version: Fossil Rush is a free browser game that collects no personal information, runs no ads, requires no account, and stores only your game progress locally on your device. Your privacy is fully respected.

Fossil Rush ("the Game", "we", "us", or "our") is a free, browser-based puzzle game. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with your use of the Game.

We are committed to collecting as little data as possible. Specifically:

No account required — there is no registration or login.

The only data stored is your local game progress (best score, current site, relics collected), saved exclusively in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

Like any website, our hosting provider may automatically receive standard server log data when you visit the Game, which may include:

The date and time of your visit
Your approximate geographic region (country or city level)

4. Local Storage

Fossil Rush uses your browser's localStorage to save your game progress between sessions. This includes your top score, the current excavation site number, and total relics earned.

You can clear this data at any time through your browser's settings (Settings → Privacy → Clear Site Data). Clearing it will reset your game progress.

5. Children's Privacy

Fossil Rush is rated for Everyone and designed to be fully family-friendly. Because we collect no personal information whatsoever, the Game is safe for users of all ages, including children under 13.

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar international regulations. No data from children is knowingly collected.

6. Third-Party Services

The Game loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). This request may expose your IP address to Google as part of a standard CDN delivery. We do not control Google's data practices; you can review their privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

We do not include any advertising networks, social media widgets, or affiliate tracking in the Game.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Since we do not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on your behalf. Your local game data exists only on your device and can be cleared through your browser at any time.
